Stagetec Asia also supplied and installed a range of Sonifex products, Adam Audio speakers and other third party equipment. Sonifex equipment included the stereo audio profanity delay units, dual stereo headphone amplifiers, telephone hybrid unit, distribution amplifiers, digital source selectors and a reference monitor. Meanwhile, Adam Audio equipment comprised A5X and A7X series studio monitors.

‘We were awarded the project based on our cost effective design,’ said Stagetec Asia managing director David Chan. ‘The project was completed in less than two months, and we were way ahead of the delivery. The project comprised the design, supply, installation and commissioning of the whole radio system – including the acoustic studios.’

‘We are really happy with the work and equipment supplied by Stagetec Asia,’ said U FM’s technical manager, En. Syazali Munir. ‘Their work was professionally done and they delivered what they promised. Not forgetting their service and support, which are tip top!’

‘It was a nice project to work on,’ added Mr Chan. ‘There were a few challenges, such as tackling the studios walls and providing the acoustics, cabling and delivery of the main equipment before the Chinese New Year holidays started. However we managed to get it done without many problems. We are glad the client is happy with what we have done, and I thank my project team for doing such a great job.’
