TAIPEI, June 2020 – Stagetec Asia was entrusted to commission an international radio project in North Asia Market, further strengthening the brand name in the South East Asia regions since its establishment in 2004. Professional Sales Support & Technical Experts are Stagetec Asia’s commitment and deliverables in business. 2020 marked its 16th Anniversary with a significant milestone i.e. Stagetec Asia’s first entry and pioneer project in North Asia regions awarded by Transformation Radio Station in Taiwan.
Transformation Radio recently invested in DHD Audio system for its new radio studios located in Taipei. The decision was made in favour of DHD Audio’s brand because of its fore front in audio mixer technology and its products reliability which can meet Transformation Radio’s long-term investment goals and expectations. Besides DHD Audio System, Transformation Radio also considered ‘Yellowtec Mounting System’ as modernize radio studio ensemble due to the product quality and ‘Intuitive solutions, award winning and sleek product designs’ concept. Hence, Transformation Radio studios were equipped with state-of-the-art broadcast radio equipment that supports latest AoIP formats, which interoperable seamlessly between one another.
The on-site testing and commissioning were scheduled for January 2020 but slightly delayed amid COVID-19 travel ban and lockdown. The system installation has been well coordinated and supervised by Mr. Yap Wei Keong, Stagetec Asia’s Project Manager together with his team in proficient pre-testing, configuration, commissioning and training for the radio station. Kudos to the local partner “VTek Engineering Ltd” as the main local system integrator in Taiwan to work virtually and remotely with Stagetec Asia team for a smooth commissioning. This earmarked Stagetec Asia’s capability and business continuity despite the unexpected and unprecedented global pandemic.
The project consisted of 6 units of DHD New 52 SX2, a complete modular and modern broadcast audio mixer that was installed at a total of 6 On-Air Studios. The 52/SX2 broadcast mixer is a user friendly and flawless system that allow networking with Series 52 products including DSP Control Software, View Apps and Production Remote-Control Software. Meanwhile, the MCR Room was equipped with Main & Backup DHD XD2, a high capacity radio router core which accept numerous connectivity options for AES67, DANTE, MADI, Gigabit Audio, AES, Analogue audio feeds and stay in control via Ember+, NMOS, DHD-ECP, Ross-Protocol, SNMP, Pro-Bel, GPIOs or serial connections.
